The Cleveland Orchestra is considered one of the most prominent American orchestra’s, informally called the “Big Five”. Founded in 1918 by the pianist and impresario Adella Prentiss Hughes, the orchestra plays most of its concerts at Severance Hall.
As of 2021, the music director is Franz Welser-Möst. As part of Luke Hayman’s team we refreshed the TCO word-mark with custom typography which we then carried through with creating various “lock-ups” for all the programs with in the TCO family. We also introduced a new color palette and photographic system that involved a detail from the TCO letter forms themselves.
